Japanese Kanji signed flag, ID of Temple Stamps

I see the flag has been sold. Did you buy it? Some of the description includes this information on the hanko

"Seals of Tochigi Shinmeigu Shinto shrine"

The large four kanji across the top ...

"武運長久 Buun (Fortunes of war) Choukyuu (Forever/perpetually) usually translated as "Eternal Good Fortune in Battle"

Thanks for the help, it's very much appreciated. I goofed, and couldn't change the title heading, but it was supposed to ask about the kanji signatures, not temple stamps as the auction seller did list some of those, and just as you pointed out "they did".

Just curious if there is any date listed on the flag, I have seen some (not many) that had a date on them.

I don't see "Tochigi", but the other seals and writing support the claim.

The oblong seal at the upper right has a "SA-MU-HA-RA" chant. These are made-up kanji and are not in any dictionary:

Far right, below the shrine's name:
栃木郵便局長
Tochigi Post Office Director

I don't know which is his name ... it's either the large kanji directly below the title:
吉野金治
Yoshino Kinji

Probably its the smaller writing to the left of the "post office director" title:
佐々木武道
Sasaki Takemichi
Takemichi is a cool given name because 武道 can also be read as "Budō" [Martial Way].
His handwriting looks similar to the position title.


The rest are just names without any titles.

I know signed Japanese flags can be a minefield, especially many coming from Japan. But this one had several features telling me it was a legit period piece. I am going to have it framed for display.
