Helmet from SOS

Here is the Japanese tanker helmet I picked up. Eric helped offer some advice. I'm pleased with this as I've wanted a tanker helmet for a while.

Tony,
In very good to excellent condition this 2nd variation summer tankers helmet goes for about $350.00 to $450.00 here on the east coast. If it's the rarer first model with the goggle straps $650.00+. Add another $350.00 if it has the tankers goggles to go with it.

On a side note, there were at least three second pattern Army summer tank helmets that were sold at the February 2005 Show of Shows in Louisville, KY. One of the helmets was in very good to excellent condition and sold very early in the show for $600 while one in lesser condition later sold for a reported $700. I am not sure what the helmet pictured in this thread ended up going for and will defer to the present owner of the helmet insofar as pricing.
