Help with map case translation please

Would greatly appreciate a translation on this map case

How large is it? The portion you show doesn't look large enough to fit a saddle into it; perhaps saddle-related equipment. At first I thought of a horseshoe bag, but that's not what the kanji say.

The closest I could find was this maintenance bag:


More cavalry-related equipment here, near the bottom of the page. LOTS of stuff, so do a word search for 携帯鞍工具袋

Guy its only about ~ 10 x 16 inches so no saddle fits in their unless its for a Barbie doll.. :-)

I always have my speakers on mute so i don't get to hear the "inspirational" music that you and Tom do...

I have one too. I've seen about four of these rare cavalry related map cases. All have different printed kanji on front that states location/placement. If anyone PMs me their email I'll send photos of mine to post
