Small Bag What Is It ?

I got this for may birthday a long time ago and I have searched from time to time but I haven't found one like it. It has some coins with it so I thought it might be some kind of personal bad . Plus I have no idea what it says. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wow that's a bit unusual. Was this Detox common? As far as I know mustard gas was not used.

Mustard "gas" (actually an oily residue) -- a blistering agent -- was used by the Japanese against China during 1937–45; they never used it on the US or Britain during WWII (probably because we have a retaliatory policy), but we trained for it. We still do, and maintain it in our Nuclear-Biological-Chemical (NBC) inventory.

When I was in the army [1979~1994] we received training about identifying and decotaminating various chemical agents, one was mustard gas. We also had chemical warfare defense incorporated into all of our field training exercises; some exercises were NBC-specific. We had to apply some sort of ointment/slurry to the affected area and wipe it off with a wooden "tongue depressor."

Thank you for the history and I always thought chemical warfare wasn't used that much and that the Japanese just used prisoners to test the potential warfare chemicals. Now I know more and it will get me to read about that style of warfare in China. Thank you so much.
