IMHO it looks good to me.
$150 is to high of a price though.

I have no issue with the authenticity and as much as I like to support the seller, as he's one of the good guys, I must agree with member leaftree. It's just too much money for too little flag.

You can get a well filled out undamaged original for that price and a real keeper for not much more.

I suggest you wait and watch the Estand or contact Mike Bortner to see what he might have available. If you are not familiar with him he's the guy that wrote the book on these, literally. His site name here is MikeB. Great guy to deal with and honest as the day is long.

I will add that the flag in question was blessed at the Minatogawa Jinja (shrine). I have sen people pay a slight premium for flags blessed here. Maybe because of the Navy connection, maybe to pair with a sword made there, not sure.

Not just the stamp, but the writing says Minatogawa Jinja.
