It would help if you posted the nakago properly-not sideways or upside down. The kanji are read with the top being towatds the point and the bottom towards the butt of the tang.

I could see the "yoshi" but that's one of the worst "Kane" I've seen! Must have been and "end of the day, Friday" signature job!
