I am being offered this in a trade for something I paid $160 for. What are these usually worth? It appears to be missing the pin. I have never owned one so I was thinking of adding it to my collection. My grandfather got metal in his shin from kicking one of these things in the Pacific with the 1st Marine division.

Its worth about that. That may be a little high. It is missing the pin with pull cord, the brass safety cap and the striker that goes inside the top of the fuse. It may or may not have the fuse tube on the inside of the screw off lid. Does the lid screw off? On the positive side, it appears to have its original paint with some remaining white marking on the bottom, which is often missing, as well as the red paint on top which is often painted over. Its a personal choice, but at $160, your in the ballpark.
