Both look good to me. Looks like late war items with the tunic being unissued and likely a warehouse find item. Bread bag is also late war (Showa 20 =1945).
I would suggest you put something flat (like a book) behind the cloth area that has the Kanji and post another picture of the writing and ask for a translation.
Are you looking to build a mannequin display?
