Japanese written by a non-Japanese. Like a Tommy or GI copying some kanji.
What is crudely written is:

Mouth Inf. 56
I don't know what he was copying when he wrote "mouth."
昭和十九年
Showa 19 Year [1944]
I do not know if this is a real war-time flag that has been dollied-up, or if it is a modern flag dollied-up.

Hi,
I usually stay away from these flags but this one I had to have because it was taken
by the Dorset Regt 2nd Division Rangoon XIV Army during operation Dracula.They
put a date on it of May 1945 and some other writing that has faded but is still legible
