Kai Gunto Translation help needed

This one just came in. Looks like a later war time blade but the quality and condition is really nice on this one.

Any help with the translation would be greatly appreciated.

You can just see the top edge of a Seki stamp near the end of the nakago (tang) on the signature side. The anchor stamp is of the Toyokawa Naval Arsenal.

Theres no Seki stamp on that blade.

You're probably right, Guy. After looking at a Seki stamp, I see these vertical lines wouldn't fit.

I have never seen a stainless blade with Seki stamp.

Thomas, I'm glad you pointed that out, I had never noticed. I do have a kai-gunto with a Seki stamp, but after looking it over, it's most likely not stainless.
