    Kanji translation help please....

Hello folks. A few sundry items from a local gent who served in the USN in the latter days of WWII, and spent some time hopping between Japan & China...I'm assuming that these silk kerchiefs are simply "tourist" type items, made for sale to the US servicemen, however I'm interested in what the Kanji might translate to? One depicts a dragon w/ a Kanji symbol, the other is a larger Kanji symbol in red silk embroidery. Any help would be great. Thank you in advance.

Souvenirs made for foreigners; likely Chinese or Korean .... might even have been sold in the Navy Exchange in Japan.
