Right did a bit of investigation,worried it was a Swedish fake,checked with the Swedish helmet and luckily the holes are in different places,it next reminded me of the Adriane but the Adrianne has holes in the top fixing the fin.So in conducted a search on the internet and now think it is a map civil defence helmet with the fire badge removed.String passed the burn and u.v test(didn't shine) heard they are commonish and worth about £100 pound.Did hear of one going for a thousand with a navy badge on it described as late war marine helmet lol.Found in a cave in the Philippines indeed! Still a nice helmet and as close as I am going to get to a jap helmet on a budget.Still only cost £50 .
