    My attempt on Kanji translation

    I purchase another sword, And trying to translate on my own

    I believe I have the date right

    This is where I need a little help and like to thank everyone in advance for their help.

    First Kanji----Kane

    2nd Kanji-----Mune???? Kanemune

    I will post picture of the sword in a day or so

    I enjoy my new direction in collecting and have brought 3 books, if anyone can also recommend other reference books. That would be great

    1-Japanese swordsmiths 1868 - 1945
    2- Swords of Imperial Japan 1868 - 1945
    3- The Samurai Sword: A Handbook
