    Captured Items Identification And Translation

Hope this post finds everyone doing well. I picked up a WWII USMC Scout Dog Handler group yesterday and these Japanese items were with the group. Hoping that someone can ID these Japanese items and translate them.

    Thanks in advance,

    Matt

    Belt buckle is Chinese:

    中華航空株式会社
    Chūka Kōkū Kabushikigaisha
    China Airlines Ltd.

    三同年記念
    Three year anniversary

This would have been in 1941.
    Wiki

One of their aircraft; note the wing logo on the nose above the aircraft's name 白鶴[White Crane]:

I'm uncertain whether or not this was Taiwan, or Mainland China.

      Guy is right.
That bell buckle looks like from the China Airliner company celebrating 3rd anniversary. Note the company uses the Japanese company term. I believe it is from Taiwan due to Taiwan was once an occupied territory by Japan.

About that coin, it should be from Qing dynasty Hsien Feng period.
Value is 15 ( note similar coins).
I do not know whether someone who gets the coin( say from government) will go to the designated pawn shop to get the appropriate currency.

                Good Morning,

Thank you GHP and Chen for the detailed information on these 3 items.

The belt buckle and coin are odd items to find/bring back during the War. Unless they were picked up during Occupation. A friend is pulling the muster rolls on him so that should shed some light on his whereabouts during the War/Occupation.

                  I made a mistake in post #3.
According to the Wiki site which Guy provides, this China airlines Ltd. was formed by the Japanese to coordinate the air transport within the territories occupied by the Japanese. It has nothing to do with the present China airlines at Taiwan.

                    Mr. Chen,

Thanks for doing the follow-up research and explaining what that Wiki page stated.
