Here is a tape measure that I came across. It came in this leather case dated 1939.
The leather case has small IJA stars impressed on various locations on its surface. The tape measure has no military markings itself. Looks like what could be a name written on the tape.
Is both metric and imperial.
I can only presume that the case originally contained the tape. Although it is slightly larger than the recess in the bottom.
Has anyone come across such a tape before?
