Japanese Aikuchi Dagger

Is this a Aikuchi Dagger or just a fantasy piece? The skull & crossbones gives me doubts.

It looks like a hunting knife fitted with a Japanese handle. The blade is not the shape of any Japanese blade. An aichuchi is a form of mount for tanto or wakizashi that has no tsuba.

Removed as the tsuka was too big with it for the junk blade. The wood underneath was also cut off.

The sheath is also stitched like many of my Filipino blade.
