The use of the proper surname of Jirosaemon no jo would indicate a special order blade. However, it would be normal for a special order blade to also be dated. If this is the work of this man, he worked in the late old sword period around the Eisho period which began in 1504. The mounts are very nice. The pictures are not clear enough to authenticate the mei. Lacking the date, doubts to it's authenticity are a concern.
Another note on this. I notice in your pictures you are holding the blade with your bare hand. This is a real no no as the acid in your finger oil will stain the blade.
