Help with another Japanese flag translation

    Hello everyone,
I was able to pick up a couple more flags recently. I added this flag to my collection, and although the sellers pics are not good at all, this flag is very nice. Its oozing with character in hand. I will take some nice shots as soon as I get some time. I can see "Buun Chou Kyuu" in the center. I cannot find a match in the translation thread for the top slogan. I can also see that the right side has a name and the "Kun" kanji. and maybe the presentors name to the right in smaller characters. I am looking for help translating these three identified areas. Thanks so much for your help.

    芦田一郎君贈
    Ashida ?~ichiro Kun Okuri
    Given to Mr. ?~ichiro.

The given name is not "Hei'ichiro" ... but it looks something like that. Hopefully someone will be able to identify the proper given name.

    The writer-presenter's name is
    野口紀一
Noguchi Ki'ichi [Ki'ichi can also be pronounced Norikazu]

芦田興一郎 is how I read it, Kouichirou Ashida. You will need to keep your eyes open whether any other flags in the same handwriting show up on the market, as this follows the same kind of MO as the fake flags (done in one hand, main slogan not fortune in battle, and an exotic feature, in this case writing within the orb). Generally, writing within the meatball goes against the grain of more than 90% of the Japanese, so one needs to be extremely careful with these.

Thanks Nick! yes, I have followed your fake flags thread with great interest. Considering the source ( its a vet brought back flag to the US), and the small price paid from a non collector, on this flag, I feel its a legit flag. Because the flags with writing in the center are so unusual, I find myself drawn to them. This flag was sourced differently from the other flag I picked up recently. I feel that these types of flags, being done all in one hand are acceptable, as they each have one presentors name, one receivers name, and a slogan or poem. Flags with many names all written in the same hand are definite red flags for me. I appreciate your knowledge and admire your integrity, as you look out for us non Japanese speaking / reading collectors. Thanks for the additional help, I hope you have recovered fully and happily my friend

PS, this is a terrible picture. I will get better pictures soon. This flag is not super clean, like Kondo's normal creations.

Here are some better quality pictures of this flag, now that I have it in hand.
