Ribbon Bars - are they WWII Japanese?

I would sincerely appreciate any opinions as to whether these are WWII Japanese ribbon bars and whether they are authentic. Thanks.

They don't look like any WW2 Japanese ribbons I have seen before. They seem to be more within the Soviet realm, imo.
