I just received this banner in the mail. I believe it is a patriotic banner hung when a soldier was leaving for war. I have no idea what the writing say but I thought it would make a great addition to my collection. Only problem is I may have to part with it to cover medical bills.
However, before I let it go (if I let it go) I would be really interested in knowing what it says. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The banner is probably about 7 feet long and has some rips but they are mostly along the side on the bottom. It has tassels on the top attached to the wood pole which runs along the top. It also has the original rope on the wood used to hang the banner.
