    New Japanese Sword

Hello all, was able to get a sword today, pretty decent WW2 with a signed blade, the mounts appear to be normal army, came with a nice tassel and the handle is really nice with Dragon minukies, cutting edge measures 25.5 inches and is in good polish with a nice temper.

Like it! Nice Seki blade in combat converted traditional mounts!

Thanks, any idea who's signature or date is on the tang?

Unfortunately, not off the top of my head! I'll let one who's more well versed in Kanji answer!

Thanks Lev! I sent some pics to a good friend after I bought it and he seemed to read it as saying Kane Nori .

Photos of kanji are posted upside down.

                        Regards,

You are welcome and always think ... TTTT (tip to the top) when posting nakago kanji photos.

There's also this thread (particularly posts 1 and 3) to help with dates.
