It's a scroll box that used to contain a landscape painting by a famous 16th cent. Ming Dynasty artist, 仇英 Kyuei [Ch. Qiu Ying, Chóuyīng].
<table><tbody><tr><td>名称 </td><td>せいりょくさんすいずかん(きゅうえい)
青緑山水図巻(仇英筆)</td><td>
</td></tr> <tr><td>時代</td><td>中国・明時代</td><td>
</td></tr> <tr><td>世紀</td><td>16c</td><td>
</td></tr> <tr><td>素材</td><td>絹本著色</td><td>
</td></tr> <tr><td>寸法</td><td> H-40 W-241</td></tr></tbody></table>
The title is 青緑山水 "Blue-Green Mountain-Water" and is very descriptive of the painting. One such painting of the same name, same artist, is held at the Miho Museum in Japan.
Here's another for sale at ¥40,000 [$400]

Could this be a copy? The seller has the typical "self protection" clause: "The authenticity, era, etc., can not be determined. Please understand. Sufficiently consider the Image explanatory, etc." Seller further describes Kyu-ei as "1498-1552 Ming Dynasty painter".
