General Signature

I was trying to compare a signature of one army general Tani Hisao who was part of the IJA 6th Div in China. He was present at the Battle of Shanghai, and the Battle of Nanking. Was wondering how to locate some type of log that may have his signature on it?

I'm confident both are by the same hand. Look at the 3rd stroke of 陸 [its slight inward curve] and the first stroke of 軍 [outward curve and both at about the same angle] in both samples above. Very distinct, even though the two writings are brushed in different "font" styles. Also, look at the first two strokes of 谷. And althought the style of writing is different in the two samples above, e.g., 夫, vs. some of the other writings attributed to General Tani use the same "broken" version of 夫.
