    police Tunic ??

    hello guys

    i bought this tunic, on good luck ,, on e bay, because i like what i see,,,,

    maybe i am wrong,,,, thats why i need more opinions

    i think its police, but what police i do not now, civile , military,, i think it WW2 jacket

    here are pictures,,

                        This photo is a good example to demonstrate how a white stripe around the helmet signified people with commanding authority in air raid civilian crowd control situations, where other means of identification such as armbands simply could not catch people's eyes any more. By the way, the photo is not a demonstration, but a spot check urging people to dress appropriately against air raids. The embarrassed-looking grandpa has been caught in the wrong attire for the occasion. The sign says "Remember our soldiers in Guadalcanal! Wear Air Defense clothing!".

                              I like the tunic. Good Original Air Raid / Civil Defense Tunic. Only the insignia stitched on the right side of the chest seems wrong. Otherwise this is a good tunic for a home front display.
