Japanese helmet pick up .

I picked up 3 helmets the other day and this was one of them.

Any comments or advice on the owner or rank or Japanese writing is appreciated.

The helmet is in very good condition.

Hello, nice helmet with late liner, congratulations!
The white hand painted kanji is for the size wich is "large" in the present case (大).
It would be nearly impossible to figure anything about the original owner, even with a name, sorry.
