    Tsuba

Tsuba types and makers have always been a difficult area for me.

Is there anyway to identify the maker of this Tsuba and the approximate date?

Thanks for any help in advance.

My best guess is mid Edo period. I was hoping maybe someone would recognize the maker.

        Nice Edo tsuba!
Without a signature it will be almost impossible to find the maker.
Keep me in mind if you decide to part with it please

My thoughts are Late Edo and a factory made piece. This is not the work of an individual artisan.

Thanks Guys! I'll try to get some pictures of the rest of the sword next week in natural light.

It's an unsigned sword in ratty condition.

Here are the pictures of the rest of the sword. It is a mess but I bought it because the Tsuba was nice.
