    Japanese photo album

I've owned alot of US & German albums but I can't recall ever having seen a Japanese vets album? This one is loaded with pics of soldiers, airplanes, and the family. I have shown the back of a couple pictures any translation available? Thanks!

I can read the one on the right, but not the left.

        Right:
        山梨県甲府出身
        Yamanashi-ken Kōfu shusshin
        From Kōfu, Yamanashi Prefecture

        望月武徳
        Mochidzuki Takenori

        Left:
        昭和十三年九月。。。。
        Shōwa jū san-nen Kyuーgatsu。。。。
        September 1938。。。。

        荒井 〜三郎氏
        Arai 〜 Saburō-shi
        Mr. Arai ~saburō

I cannot make out any of the other writing on this side.

What does the album itself look like? Sometimes albums were sold with decorations and kanji specific to units in aviation, artillery, etc. Is there any handwritten kanji on the inside covers of the album itself? Looking at the pics., the original owner of this album looks to have been going (or had a relative) off to war in China as an infantryman, but then you have the planes too, so maybe airfield battalion, or maybe the owner liked planes? Imo, I would say inconclusive concerning unit at least.

Thanks all. I'll post some more pics with clearer shots of some of the writing. The album itself is a plain photo or scrapbook type. Not a "PX Purchase" like the US or German albums I see with unit related covers/inside.

The 'preprinted' characters are on the reverse of one of the aviation photo's and they all seem to be that way. The other photo's are all originals with hand written inscriptions.
