    Japanese officer sword/katana?

    Hi everyone,

    My old schoolteacher had this katana and asked me to sell it. I have No clue what this and what its worth so I thoughed I asked you guys to help me out. It suppose to be an officers katana but I guess you see it better then me.

        Its a shingunto with a showa blade , nontraditional made. It has the Seki stamp.
        Its missing the leather cover on the scabbard.
        700-800 usd. IMO .
