Looks like the remains of the 16 petal imperial chrysanthamum on the last picture on the lower part of the blade. I would be curious to see what is inscribed on the blade.

It's a poem. These were mass produced and appear quite often with the poem. Not sure of the age...late Edo maybe. Genuine, but all made the same in this case.
