zts, I asked about the missing stars because I have a pictures of the Shinjuku black market. You can see some ex-IJA soldiers shopping among US service men. Does anyone know if they removed their cap's star after the war? I've seen post war pictures of German soldiers wearing their m43 field caps without the insignia, I would think the Japanese would remove them too.
