I felt Like I needed a little "Group Therapy" today, so I gathered up some helmets for a quick shoot. I guess I need a few more to make a perfect pyramid. I think I will have to find a few navy helmets to top it off. Enjoy!

Top left: 1941 dated helmet with 1941 dated and named cover
Top right: 1943 dated helmet with multi piece liner and silky late war chinstraps with a 1943 dated cover
Left side / Left bottom: This helmet still has mud on it from the battlefield
Left side / Right bottom: US Navy bring Back rim marked with unit or name
Right side / Left bottom: Netted bring back helmet. This helmet is part of a small grouping that is a little gruesome. It was brought back with other captured items, and I have a picture of the 3 soldiers posing with the KIA soldier this helmet came from. They are packing a duffle bag full of souvenirs, as they pose / kneel over his body. This came with a couple of the soldiers family pics, a flag, a picture of the young soldier, and a period letter explaining the items.
Right side / Right bottom: This is a large helmet that was captured with a flag tucked into the liner. flag remains in the liner.
