Won't know about the sword till we see the additional pictures but the hanger is worth around that or a bit more I believe.

The photos of the blade still are insufficient. Please try to take photos in natural light. Get a closeup of the ricasso (thicker blade portion just above the guard), and closer images of the blade.

As it is now, we're trying to assess a blade while keeping one eye closed and the other squinting ... while standing 6 feet away.

And you needn't take 20 photos; probably 2 of the ricasso (front/back) and a couple of the blade so we can assess the fuller/groove.

Gunto and Stu are correct about the hanger. It's for a shin gunto, chain hangers were apparently originally used by the cavalry being stronger than leather but caught on with other branches of service sometime later. Someone bent the regain hook, a twisted mind no doubt. I've seen them in excess of $400.00 recently.
