    It is the work of the 3rd generation, a chu-jo saku smith who was most productive during the Kanbun era(1661-1673). Typical Osaka Shinto work.

                    There is nothing about this sword mount that would indicate any part was later than the Edo period. To judge menuki, they need to be viewed from both the front and the rear. From what I can see, they are likely mid Edo period of medioum quality.
