Navy Captain's Winter Service Tunic

While going through my closet I ran across this Navy captain's winter service tunic so I snapped some photos of it for the forum.

Order of the Sacred Treasure
Order of the Rising Sun
Showa Enthronement Commemorative Medal (upside down)
1931-34 Incident War Medal
China Incident War Medal
2600th National Anniversary Commemorative Medal

Finally, here is a photo of the inside neck area of the tunic. The tunic hanger loop is marked "S. Moritaya Tokyo Yokohama" in English. Just below the hanger loop is the tunic owner's last name which is "Shibata."

Good question.

My guess is that the tunic is from the Showa time period. (In this case, by Showa I am referring to the period of 1926 thru 1945.) The ribbon bar is definitely from the 1940s though.
