A Japanese flag that I can read!

These two just came in and I thought I would share. I really love items with a little veteran history.

Did they have magic markers in 1945?

They had pens. It wouldn't be that fine with a marker.

Yeah those balloon letters don't look period at all. Markers come in all sizes & tip shapes. Doesn't get my vote of confidence

I like it. The guy was obviously a talented artist.

I once had a really jazzed up meatball flag like this. The guy had been in the 98th Inf. Div. so it went.

The battle flag was a nice plus also, it's nice to get the tiny displayable sizes in.
