Japanese army canteen without any markings, need help.

Looks like standart army canteens, but no stamp of manufacturer or year...

Maybe late war produce?

Hi,

I think it might be stamped once with white stamp, but got washed away. Probably around 1942 (Shouwa 17).

There is date on the strap, but I can't see the detail.

Well, one thing for sure is an original war-time piece.

Nice example with the leather strap.

You are right, the stamp is Showa 17.

Mb is just my imagination, but i see 1 and 7...
