Navy Field Cap Anchor Patch any Good ?

just wondered if this is a period patch, guys says the white is yellowed, but Japanese is generally not my thing. Does it look good?

someone pm me and said these were also made post war, so it's hard to tell, I've seen repros that they make, but the quality is not the same. any way to tell the real deal beside black light and burn test?
