Need help for translation a nakago

Could anybody help me with this Kanji? The first character should mean "kiyozane". Am I right?

What could mean the first kanji at the top?

What could mean the first kanji at the top?

I don't really know ... unless it had a much longer mei at one time ... but there are no other holes to indicate it was shortened. At first I thought it might be part of the two kanji highlighted in blue and green, below:

長州豊浦住二王清真
Chōshū Toyoura ju Niō Kiyosane


But I'm not really certain.....

Hello ral6014,

Have you a photo of the full blade available to post? I'd like to see the relationship between the nakago and the full blade. Perhaps you can tell us their lengths as well.

The total lenght of the blade is 25,60 inch. The cutting edge is 20,67 inch. I would say a little bit longer than a average wakizashi but shorter than a katana.
