Well, when you get a real "yosegaki" flag, you can display this one along side it as a great example of the "Seabee Special." It's not Japanese, but it *is* part of history.

They made a bunch to trade off to the guys who were not near the front. They traded for booze, money, and I was told they would get ice cream from the Navy guys, right off the ship
