Japanese Belts

Hello Forum Members and to all a Happy New Year.
I am still trying to figure out who would of worn these belts. I think the purple one is for a Engineer, but I am not sure on either of them.
Any opinions or help out there.

Jack, The top belt is indeed for a Navy engineering senior officer and the bottom one is for a Navy medical junior officer. Both belts were authorized for officers 1914-1945 as identified by the buckle. Jim

Guntojim is correct. These were dress belts. Not service or combat.
