    Japanese Goggles Identification Request

    Gents;

    We have been told this boxed set of goggles are of Japanese WWII origin. Could anyone confirm that?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Clay

    There are many variations of Japanese goggles.

    Yours might be one of them, but hard to tell because they have no maker stamps.

    They might no be offical military issued pieces.

    Regards,
    Taka

      Dust googles have many variations like Taka-San stated. Army and civilian googles are quite similar .
      Only thing that can confirm it is Japanese would be a makers mark on the googles.

        I think wartime goggles have more workmanship, although Japan manufactured and sold many novelty items post war , from lighters , to almost anything made of plastic, and more...so these could be a post war novelty item.

          I know some pre war flight goggles are not marked , but they are genuine Japanese made.

          Here are some rear examples ! (Not in my collection)

          Goggle #1.

          Goggle #2.

              Your goggles are WWI era British all purpose goggles. I have owned a pair that were also boxed.
