Hello, Can I get some opinions on this Japanese Field cap. The main reason Is I have one made of similar material, it is not here my Uncle has it in another city. But if any one can help me deterrmine authenticity it would be greatly appreciated.

Material used here is often seen on Civlian caps. No liner on the inside here.
The chinstrap has the officer chrysanthemums on the sides but officer caps were usually made of good quality materials and better made.
My opinion would be some sort of civilian cap with an added chin strap.Comment
