Japanese helmet with netting for Review

Came across this helmet. Have not seen in person yet. I am not sure about the netting but the rest seems ok to me. Thoughts???? What kinda value would it have. Liner is a little rough.

    Thanks

The whole helmet is a little rough and the net has been added post war. Pretty sure its not even wartime made material, as it looks like modern material to me. The helmet alone has a much better look to it, although rough. I would try to be buying it for under $500. I just don't think its worth ,more than that. That may be on the high side??

            Paul,

Id say your right. Net post war material.

Hard to tell from the photos but the star also might not be the original star to the helmet judging from the difference in color of the helmet shell paint.

A positive note would be that the liner is original and chin ties appear to be complete and stitched at there tips.

Yes, that was my feelings the netting was not original. I have never seen a netting like that style on a original one. If I can get a good price on it, I will try to pick it up.

              Thanks for the help.
