    Boxed ear plugs???

    Freind of mine woud like me to post this little box for your comments, looks like a pair of ear plugs but they are hollow with gauze at the ends, he belives they might be for wearing during the night to stop bugs entering there ears.
    Sorry to say these came with a small ww2 british vetrans grouping that he split up before i managed to get to his shop in time Im going to put the word out to see i can get my hands on whats sold to get it back together again, Cardiff is a small world an d i might be lucky.

      Hi,

      Those are Japanese earplugs. Used for protection against shock and sound from firing artillery.

      Without them, soldiers' ear drums would be damaged, and blood would drip out. (It did happened.)

      Your example is size: Small. (Shou) - Small
