Hi,
It's a civilian type helmet. Some military branches used them as we'll, I've seen one example with a tanker' s unit and name written on.
Don't know about the authenticity of the star insignia (looks fake), but the owner of this helmet was dispatched to China (Words in the liner).

Omit the star, this consider a good civil helmet (with chinstrap and liner intact), with the extra historical info. IMO, around $60~$80.

So.....what is it?? Looks like a civilian helmet to me! But its being sold on e-bay as a Combat helmet?? weird..............
"All original" per the E-bay listing.....yet, the star was clearly pointed out as bad.....hmmm....

they say the helmet is civilian and the star is not good, now he is on e bay , and it is a combat helmet all original
