tsuba kanji

hi lads, could someone please translate this tsuba for me, much appreciated as usual, thank you, brenig

The first two kanji are the name; the third is an artist "signature" called kao.

The kanji forming the name could be pronounced either Yasuharu or Hoshun; Yasuharu sounds more like a craftsman whereas Hoshun sounds more like a painter, or other artist. [Just my perception -- no data to base that statement upon; just that "yasuharu" sounds right.]

I've done a google search on 保春 and 鍔 [tsuba], but I couldn't get any hits.

Hey! I just found another by the same smith!!!! The museum identifies the name as Yasuharu.

A eighteenth century Japanese swordguard or 'tsuba' with holes for the kogai and the kozuka. Circular form in openwork design of a legendary subject with a man in a dream watching a figure with trees. With gilding. Signed: Yasuharu. 1981.89
