Just found out from a sword parts seller in Japan that nobody sells them.Looks like
I shall have to make them,using my other tachi as a guide.

I looked all over the internet last week but couldn't find any. I'm certain they can be made in Japan -- but that would cost a pretty bob or two.

I too have looked but they must be custom made in Japan unless your lucky enough to find a pair on eBay or elsewhere.

Hi Franco,

I have always had them made in Japan. There are a few craftsman still making this stuff in the traditional manner in doe skin.

I found this guy in the UK who might be able to help. I do not know him and have never done business with him so I cant vouch for him or his work. So you might want some references.
