Japanese Boots I presume?

one pair of boots, still wearable. Believe these to be Japanese WW2 period military boots. Would appreciate confirmation if they are indeed what I believe. I have acquired nearly a complete uniform ensemble which I will post another day for comments.

I cant discern any markings etc, size is about a US 8.

Looks right to me although I'm not sure about the re-sole. Look for a size stamp rendered in pin holes, usually by the top edge somewhere.

Resole conforms to period norms, but without the pinhole size stamp I'd suspect they're officer's private purchase boots.

thanks for that information. Just looked and yes has the pin hole marks look like 107.

That's a rarer, larger size, probably wearable too so it's a good thing to have. Shoelaces look postwar though, IJA ones are plain cotton with metal ends.
