picked up a cool sword last week, it was brought back buy a Marine Colonel. Dont think it was carried during the war but its got a nice signed old tang, Shinto? Era . The blade is nice and fat really hard to get pic of the temper.Figured id post my new sword.

Cool, Can you tell if the boshi is there? In the tip, can you see if the temper is complete, goes around and turns back on the spine? The kissaki looks a bit odd and this is something you should always look for.
