Any Interesting Writing on this Flag?

I am cleaning out a spare bedroom and ran across this flag that I don't even remember buying.

I was just curious if there was anything interesting or unusual about it, before deciding what to do with it.

Was hoping it might say something like "Great job bombing Pearl Harbor" or "The Emperor is counting on you, oh great Kamikaze Pilot, to sink ships".

A fake Tojo Flag which was written by a Chinese.

All characters were also written by a same person.

Another horrible example.

Interesting - well, it might be a repro done by the Australians because, even though I don't recall buying it, the last Japanese flag I REMEMBER buying was around 1988. I never collected them - just bought them when the vet threw one in when I was buying a Japanese sword from him.

The red ink has deteriorated the silk to the point where you could probably poke the red meat ball right out of it. I have never seen silk artificially aged in this manner.

The "Tojo Flags" are fake, but they are wartime or immediate post-war era made fakes, so they do have real age to them, are often acquired from vets with provenance, and in their own way are still WW2 collectables, just not Japanese.
